SOCIAL AWARENESS:

As Aristotle said, “MAN IS A SOCIAL ANIMAL” We are ‘ANIMALS’ in society. We have lot of social responsibility but we fail to take any initiative. We see some people smoke in public places. We know that smoking is injurious to health. ‘

Smoking affects not only active smokers, but also passive smokers. But we don’t object them. There by we are encouraging ill health.

We throw litter on roads, we spit on pavements, go for urination in public places. So we need to change the ATTITUDE of people through ENLIGHTENING PROGRAMME.


BLOOD DONATION CAMP:

THALASSEMIA, a dreadful disease which is paralysing the young. Almost the disease is tantalizing the World.

The immaculate kids are the victims for no fault of them. They need blood transfusion ONCE in every THREE WEEKS.

We are organizing BLOOD DONATION CAMP almost throughout the Calender year.

MEDICAL CAMPS:
There are still a number of people who were deprived of medical aid. The Govt., though it shows interest in opening up of PHCS,doesn’t show interest in running. As a result a lot of people are suffering. So NAKSHATHRA has planned to conduct medical camps at rural areas, tribal areas where doctors can”t go.

We want to aid medically and bring relief to the suffering with the support of pharma organizations, we buy medicines at lower cost and we would like to utilize the services of Experts in various branches of medicine. At the outset we prepare a blue print and then execute it.

SUPPORTING HOMES:
In the hectic humdrum of the modern, materialistic society where many people hide their villainy under facade of a pleasing personality, the elders are forgotten.

Our culture became glorious only because of them. But we are so ” busy in doing nothing,” we put them in old age homes and wash our hands off. So NAKSHATHRA has decided to take this as a CHALLENGE.

It does campaigns against this tendency. it wants to organize ” SPECIAL SUNDAY” – where it visits a SUPPORTING HOME/AN ORPHANAGE and spends with them from dawn to dusk. They are neglected, unwanted, uncared, unprotected by the people. So, we are here to take care.
